About
A scenic 10K road race taking runners from the Games’ Stadium through Rothesay, along the coast road past Skeoch Woods and Ardbeg Point, turning at Port Bannatyne and returning to the finish line with around 3,000 spectators lining the route.
Catering & aid stations
Water and electrolyte drink stations positioned along the coastal route; additional hydration and light refreshment stands at the start/finish in the Stadium.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be provided for the 10K Road Race with target times displayed for each start wave on race day. Pacers help runners maintain even splits and offer encouragement; flags will identify pacers on course. Check the ‘Renntag für Laufende’ schedule at the start for wave times.
