An ultra-distance race starting and finishing at Sunset Overlook in Columbia, Illinois, featuring a 113-mile out-and-back course on levees and back roads with around 1,591 ft of elevation gain.
Aid stations offer typical ultra foods: quesadillas, soup, fruit, candy, ginger ale, etc. On-course Verpflegung available at aid stations; not Pacemaker lines.
Pacers are available for the 113 mile race. You can pick up a pacer starting at the halfway point of Kaskaskia aid station (mile 56.8), and also at Fort de Chartres (mile 75.8), Ivy Rd (mile 83.1), and Garleb Rd (mile 100.9). Pacers must sign a waiver at packet pickup or at the aid station, wear a Hi-Vis reflective vest during nighttime portions, and display their PACER= bib visibly. One pacer at a time; pacers may not carry food, water, or gear for you.

Packet pickup is Friday 3:00–7:00 p.m. at Zoar Church Banquet Hall (9103 D Rd, Columbia, IL 62236) and Saturday morning at Sunset Overlook. Bring your bib for check-in.
Key cut-offs: Ivy Rd (3:30 p.m. Saturday, 9 hrs), Kaskaskia (11:30 p.m. Saturday, 17:30 hrs), Fort de Chartres (5:25 a.m. Sunday, 23:25 hrs), Mitchie Rd (9:40 a.m. Sunday, 27:40 hrs), Garleb Rd (1:10 p.m. Sunday, 31:10 hrs), Finish (5:00 p.m. Sunday, 35 hrs).
Refunds are issued if you cancel no later than two months before race day (processing fees excluded). Refunds also available for pregnant individuals; contact americanbottoms113@gmail.com.
