A scenic 5-mile race through field paths, trails and canal towpath south of Carnforth, known for crossing 20 barriers. Returns via the old Lundsfield quarry area.
Catering & aid stations
Water and juice available at the finish; bring your own reusable drinking cup. Some snacks provided.
Pacers
The race is paced under FRA rules with designated pacers listed on the Renntag for Laufende on race day; pacers will lead their assigned start waves to target times. Pacers are volunteers and their role is to help runners maintain even pacing along the 5-mile course.

What time does the race start?
The race starts at 7:00 PM (19:00) on Tuesday 1 July 2025.
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes — pre-entry is £10. On the night it is £10 as well. Registrations open early; checkout is via the on-site registration page.
What should I wear?
Trail or studded shoes are advised. The course is fields, paths and canal towpath; it can be muddy.
Are pacers provided?
Yes, pacers will lead assigned start waves to target pacer times under FRA rules; see the Renntag for Laufende on race day for details.
