A festive 5K race/walk held as part of First Night State College, welcoming runners and walkers to ring in the new year with a scenic campus route and costume-friendly celebration.

Catering & aid stations

Hot chocolate, coffee, apple cider, and cookies available at the Warm-Up Station in the Woskob Family Gallery (146 S. Allen St.).

Pacers

Chip-timed with pacing groups at the start. This is a 5K road race/walk; walkers line up behind runners and remain on sidewalks. Use provided start corrals and target times indicated on race-day signage.

How much does it cost to register?

Registration is $25 if postmarked on or before December 22nd; thereafter $30 until December 30; $35 on race day (December 31). Ages 19 and under receive a discounted pre-race price of $15.

Where can I register?

Register online, in person on December 30 (2–4 pm at State College Municipal Building, 243 S. Allen St.), or on race day (December 31, 4–6 pm at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church basketball court, which also serves as baggage storage).
