The Abbot Kinney One is a USATF-certified, one-mile running event presented by On and Electrolit, produced by Venice Run Club. It takes place on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, offering runners of all levels a chance to race down one of LA’s most iconic streets.

Catering & aid stations

Water and electrolyte stations along the course; post-race festival village with food and drinks.

Pacers

The event uses a wave start with assigned start times for each heat to help runners maintain target paces. Pacers will be identified by numbered Pacerflaggen on the course; refer to your registered heat and the race-day schedule for your wave and target times.

Is there race day registration available?

Registration will close when spots fill up, which may happen before race day. They strongly encourage registering before race day; there is no on-site registration guaranteed.

What time should I be at the starting line race morning?

You will be called to assemble at the starting line 10 minutes before your assigned group wave time.

Will there be bathrooms on the course?

Yes, portable restrooms will be located in the athlete zone between the start line and W Washington Blvd and also after the finish.

What is the parking situation for the race?

Street parking will be available around the race location, and there are also paid parking lots located near the race at the addresses listed on the information page.

Can I listen to music (headphones, earbuds, phones, mp3s, etc.) during the race?

For your safety and that of all participants, they recommend not using any electronic devices while participating.

Can bibs be transferred for the race?

No; bibs are not transferable.

Can someone else pick up my race packet?

Yes, but the proxy must have a copy of your license and a copy of your race entry confirmation.

Can I pick up my race packet at the starting line?

They do not allow race day packet pickup unless you have extenuating circumstances and absolutely cannot pick up on Saturday.

When can I pick up my race packet?

Packet pickup will be held on Saturday, June 27 from 10am-4pm at the On Cabana: 1428 Abbot Kinney Blvd.

Is the race registration fee refundable?

There are no refunds for this race.
