Click here for details on how to request a letter of invitation. Include your presentation details with the purpose for attending the meeting.
How do I access my abstract to see and complete my tasks?
Click here to access the Submission Portal and complete any outstanding speaker tasks.
Do I have to bring a printed copy of my poster to the meeting?
No, the Science Pavilion is entirely digital. Once you submit your electronic poster it will become available on the screens in the Science Pavilion and through the meeting app.
Can I still present my poster if I can't attend the meeting in person?
Yes! Even if you can't attend the meeting in person, your electronic poster will be included in the Science Pavilion. However, it is even more important that you upload a video poster presentation if you aren't going to be there in person, as that is the way that you will present your material to the attendees.
How do I participate in the Meet the Author session if I'm not there in person?
If you are not at the meeting, you will not be able to participate in the Meet the Author session. However, all attendees (in person and remote) will be able to view your video presentation of your poster.
How do I participate in the Meet the Author session in person?
You must RSVP and be registered to participate in the Meet the Author session. You will not be assigned to a screen until you have done both of these things. If a co-author will be presenting for you, you must change the presenter (see instructions below) and the new presenter must be registered for the meeting (in person). Please note: Presenters must be an author on the abstract. You cannot have someone unrelated to the abstract present the poster. We will check against the registration list to make sure that the presenter is registered for the meeting. You will NOT be assigned a screen without registration.
I have a time conflict so one of my co-authors will present our work. How do I make that change?
You can change the presenter or update the order of co-authors using the "Authors" button on your submission in the speaker portal.
What is the deadline to upload my poster?
The deadline for poster uploads is May 23, 2026. Judging for poster awards will begin after that time. You will be able to replace your poster with an updated file up until May 29, however starting May 30, abstracts without any poster file uploaded will be removed from the conference and from publication in the Journal.
What is the deadline to upload my video file?
The deadline to upload your video file is May 29, 2026.
Are there technical guidelines for the poster file that I upload?
Yes, please follow the instructions below: Poster files must be a single page. If you upload a multi-page file, only the first page will show in the gallery. Posters should be 16:9 widescreen (landscape) format to best utilize the screen space. A resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels will show best on the 55" screens while allowing for you to zoom in on sections of the poster. The system will only accept poster files in PDF or JPG format. The poster presentation video should be a 2–3 minute recording, as if you were giving a poster pitch to someone in person. Zoom, Canva, MS Teams and PowerPoint all have simple tools to record a voice-over with an image or slides on your screen. Do not just use your abstract on a page as your poster. The full abstract will be available to attendees as well. The poster should be a visual presentation of your science.
What is a POP? How do I know if I'm doing one?
POPs are brief Poster Oral Presentations (sometimes called lightning presentations). If your abstract is one of the highest scoring abstracts in your track, you will receive an invitation to participate in the POPs session for the track. POPs are only presented live onsite, so if you are not able to be at the meeting in person, you will not be able to present in the session. The schedule for POPs is below.
I have an oral presentation; how long do I have for my presentation?
Oral presentations are generally 8 minutes to present with 2 minutes for Q&A, although this will vary slightly depending on the session and other presentations.
Do I have to be present for the whole session that I am presenting in?
Yes, due to the variations in timing for oral sessions, you should plan to stay for the full session.
Do I have to submit the slides for my oral presentation in advance?
Yes, you will receive an email from our A/V company, PRG, 1–2 weeks in advance of the meeting providing you with a link to upload your slides. You may change those out up to 24 hours before your scheduled session or provide them onsite in our speaker ready room.
I can't be there but one of my co-authors will present our work. How do I make that change?
You can change the presenter or update the order of co-authors using the "Authors" button on your submission in the speaker portal.
Do I have to upload a poster for my oral presentation, and why should I if it's not required?
Although it is not required, oral paper presenters are also strongly encouraged to submit a poster for the gallery. Please refer to the poster guidelines above. You do not need to provide a video recording. Providing a poster is another way to share your work with all attendees, both in-person and remote.
What if something happens and I can't get to the meeting in person?
We have limited availability for remote presentations in oral sessions and you must notify SNMMI in advance. If no one from your abstract is able to attend and present in-person, please send an email to Remote Presentation Request including the abstract ID# and assigned session. Requests must be received no later than May 7, 2026.
