About
The Acrisure Branford Road Race is a Branford tradition founded by Ray Figlewski and Dick Wainman. The races take place annually on Father’s Day and close out the Branford Festival, drawing over 5,000 runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers. The event raises funds for Camp Rising Sun and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
Catering & aid stations
Continental breakfast across from Registration tent includes scones from Stony Creek Market, granola bars, popcorn and fruit. Pancake breakfast (Rotary Tent) with pancakes, sausage, orange juice or coffee. Egg sandwich (Italian American Club tent). Post-race New England Brewery celebration with pizza and beer for ticket holders.
Pacers
Pacers will be provided for the 5 Mile Race and 2 Mile Health Walk. See Renntag schedule for target times per Startwelle and pacer-flag guidance. Pacers help keep runners on pace and will be stationed at key splits; this is included in registered benefits.
