About
The Bicentenary Swim is a one-off community-focused event marking Albany’s 200th anniversary in 2026 at Middleton Beach, celebrating the town’s coastal heritage and WA’s history. It is open to swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Catering & aid stations
On-course hydration and aid stations will be provided at both short and long course distances; post-event refreshments and presentation will be held at the finish area.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be provided for both short and long courses, with target start waves and pacer flag guidance published on the Renntag für Laufende schedule. Pacer group assignments and target times will be confirmed via the event schedule closer to race day.
