FAQ

Are dogs allowed at the Alhambra Pumpkin Run Halloween Festival?

Can I pick up my family’s, friend’s, or team’s race packets?

Yes. Please indicate the bib number and name on your windshield when driving through. If picking up more than 3 packs, email alhambrapumpkinrun@gmail.com to arrange grouped service.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine — the run must go on. “A little rain ain’t hurt nobody.”

Is there a separate 5K start time for walkers?

No. The 5K run and walk begins at 8:00 AM. Walkers should line at the back; fastest runners should set up closest to the start line.

Can I walk the 5K?

Yes. The Alhambra 5K Pumpkin Run is a run-and-walk; walking is allowed.

Are strollers allowed in the 5K?

Yes. Strollers are allowed; running strollers are preferred. Wagons, bikes, tricycles, roller skates, and open-toed sandals are not permitted.

Is the event timed?

Yes. It is chip-timed. Your race time begins when you cross the start line and ends when you cross the finish timing mat. Cut-off for official timed results is 8:15 AM — no exceptions.

Where do I get my time after the run?

Finish across the timing mat at the arch for your official time. Results and recognition will be posted after processing.

What should I NOT bring to the 5K?

Bikes/tricycles, pets/dogs, roller skates/rollerblades, alcohol & drugs, glass containers, and open-toed sandals or flip-flops. Wear athletic shoes for safety and foot care.

Is there Wi-Fi at the Alhambra Pumpkin Run?

No public Wi-Fi is available at the event.

Is there food at the festival?

Yes. There will be a variety of food vendors with hot and cold food located north of the main stage near the Farmers Market, starting at 7 AM.

Can I volunteer?

Yes. Email alhambrapumpkinrun@gmail.com to volunteer as a cheer lead, registration helper, swag bag filler, or other roles.

Can tickets be transferred?
