Pacers

Pacers are available for the 41 km and 21 km races. They must be referenced in the 'Règlement' tab of the registration form. Pacers must arrive at the start with their runner and may not overtake during the race. They must carry a visible pacer flag matching their wave and may only assist their runner. Check the schedule for start waves and times.

FAQ

What happens if I arrive after my start wave?

You risk disqualification. You must be in your start area at the announced departure time for your wave.

Can I run with a pacer?

Yes, pacers are allowed for the 41 km and 21 km races. See the 'Règlement' tab for pacer rules, waves, and start times.

Do I need a licence or a medical form?

You need either a valid FFA licence or a PPS form (less than 1 year old) completed on pps.athle.fr for competitors over 18. Minors without a licence must submit a health questionnaire and parental authorization.

Are dogs allowed on the courses?

No, dogs are not allowed on the race courses for safety reasons.

Is there aid station and support on course?

Yes, aid stations are available on course. The 41 km and 21 km races also include an arrival-stage replenishment and a local Auvergner meal option (13€) for registered participants.

What about the UTMB Index?

The 21 km (Tour de Saint-Ferréol) and 41 km (Signal de Mons) courses are UTMB Index labeled: 20K and 50K respectively. Each relay runner in the 41 km relay earns 20K UTMB Index.
