About
San Diego’s most scenic half marathon — a point-to-point course from Cabrillo National Monument along the bay, through downtown and finishing in Balboa Park. The 5K offers a fast, flat route through the heart of Balboa Park. Produced by In Motion Events as part of the SoCal Triple Crown series.
Catering & aid stations

Pacers

Half Marathon — 6:15 AM; 5K — 6:10 AM; Virtual races may be started anytime within the event period.
What is the age and award policy?
Awards are offered to the first three male, female and non-binary finishers overall and by age groups (17 & under, 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, 85+). 5K age groups: 12 & under, 13–17, 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, 85+. Awards are based on net chip time; check-in required.
What should I bring and what is provided?
Bring a photo ID for packet pickup; registration includes technical short-sleeve shirt, finisher medal, souvenir grocery bag, and post-race beer garden access (21+). Expo/packet pickup Sat 8/15 10 AM–4 PM at Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.
