A local family tradition 5K run/walk that welcomes all ages and abilities with music, food, custom medals and a post-race party.
Catering & aid stations
On-course water and aid stations are provided; Port-a-potties are available in The Grove and Crystal Ball Cafe permits use of their restroom.
Pacers
The Crystal Beach 5K is a chip-timed event with pace groups displayed on the race-day schedule (Renntag). Pacers are published for each start wave on the official race-day page to help runners stay on target.

What is the date of the Crystal Beach 5K run/walk?
The race is held on the second Saturday of October each year; this year it is Saturday, October 10th, 2026.
Who can register?
Anyone! The race also features a 1K Kids Run.
What time does the race start?
The Kids Fun Run starts at 10:15 AM; the Crystal Beach 5K starter pistol goes off at 11:00 AM at 4020 Erie Rd.
Where does the race start and finish?
Start and finish in front of 4020 Erie Rd. (formerly Sneakers), look for the Crystal Ball Cafe at 4028 Erie Rd.
What is the timing system?
The race is a 'bib-chip' event with chip timing.
Where can I park?
Best parking is on Erie Rd. or in the lot across from the Crystal Ball Cafe in The Grove; Bay Beach parking lots are also open.
Where are the results and pictures?
Photos and a link to results will be posted on the race Facebook page after the event.
Where are the washrooms?
Port-a-potties will be set up in The Grove and Crystal Ball Cafe has permitted use of their restroom.
Where is the post-race party?
The post-race party with live music, results, and a cash BBQ will be outside in The Grove on Erie Rd.
Can walkers run?
If you signed up as a walker you must only walk; if you signed up as a runner you can run or walk.
