About

A community event held at Lapham Peak State Park featuring 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour run/walk divisions on a lighted 1-mile loop trail with chip timing, on-course aid station, and awards.

Catering & aid stations

Manned aid station at start/finish offering a wide variety of foods and fluids. Hammer Nutrition sponsor provides HEED, HammerGel, and Endurolytes products. Cupless event — runners must carry their own reusable container (bottle, vest, cup, etc.); one provided at check-in courtesy of Hammer Nutrition.

Pacers

Pacing is not allowed in any of the events; however, pacers and crew may accompany participants during walking breaks. In divisions where pacers are used (e.g., 12- and 24-hour races), pacers must comply with designated start waves (Startgruppen) and may display Pacerflaggen as indicated in the Renntag für Laufende schedule.

FAQ

What are the registration dates and fees?

Online registration runs March 1 through August 31 (noon). Fees: $85 through June 30, $95 in July, $105 in August (noon); race-day registration is cash/check only. Badgerland Strider members and returning 2025 runners receive a $5 discount through July 31.

What is the course like?

A 1-mile loop on a wide, gentle trail (gravel, grass, dirt) with 87 ft elevation gain per lap, lighted at night. Runners may use flashlights or headlamps.
