The Berkhamsted Rotary Half Marathon and 5 Mile Run are routed through the beautiful Chiltern countryside, starting and finishing at Berkhamsted Cricket Club. The event raises funds for local charities including DENS, the Pepper Foundation and the Hospice of St Francis.
Catering & aid stations
Water and drinks stations along the route; finish line provides medal, goody bag and t-shirt (Half Marathon).
Pacers
The Half Marathon is paced; target times per start wave are published on the event website. Pacers display flags to aid runners in staying on target.

What is the age limit for the Half Marathon?
No under 17s are allowed to run the Half Marathon (UK Athletics rule); you must be able to complete the course within 3 hours.
When and where do I collect my race pack?
Race packs can be collected from Victoria School, Berkhamsted on Saturday 28 February 2026, 8:30am–2pm, or on race morning from the Berkhamsted School pavilion (Kitcheners Field).
Are there timing chips provided?
Yes, all entrants receive a chipped bib for official race timing.
Is there late registration?
Late registration is available on the day (28 February 2026) until 11:59pm; prices increase for same-day sign-ups.
What happens if the race is cancelled?
No refunds are given in the event of race cancellation.
