A family-friendly bike-and-run relay on asphalt where a runner and a cyclist cover 9 or 18 km together, staying within 15 m — part of the larger Kermis Burst festival weekend with music and community pits along the route.
No bottled water at aid stations — bring your own drink for the bike. Bananas and orange slices available on course. Finish: winegums, complimentary Aquarius, and rice pudding.
Pacemakers are designated on the “Renntag für Laufende” page. They provide target times per start wave and carry a Pacer flag during the race to help runners maintain a steady, race-pace effort over the 9 or 18 km course. Expect 2–6 pacer groups depending on field size, with pacers meeting runners at the start and guiding them at a consistent speed.
