About

Support Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove by joining Midcoast Maine’s 15th annual half marathon. The race includes mile markers, water stations every 2 miles, a post-race buffet brunch, and finisher medals for all participants.

Catering & aid stations

Chowder supper with fresh greens, corn on the cob and blueberry pie ($25 adults; $5 for kids); vegan options available. Post-race buffet brunch with coffee/tea.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided for designated start waves to help runners maintain target times. Pacers display Pacerflaggen and will run alongside participants to aid with pacing.

Can I walk the race?

Yes, walkers start with runners at 7:30 AM and may finish up to 1 hour earlier after checking in.

No pets except service animals; baby strollers are allowed.

Are there adequate bathroom facilities?

There are bathrooms at the start and finish plus 4 additional porta-potty locations along the route.

Is there hydration along the course?

Hydration stations are available approximately every 2 miles.

Yes, all participants receive a finisher’s medal.

Limited shower facilities are available for runners at Blueberry Cove Camp on race day.

Spectators are encouraged to park at the ball field approximately 1.5 miles from the start, walk back to the start, or view from Route 131 and Drift Inn Beach. Please abide by safety guidelines for the safety of runners.
