About

Ultra Cycling Challenge, the legendary one-day race from Bordeaux to Paris, returns in 2026 as a trackable semi-self-supported endurance event. The race offers 650 km and an "Experience" 330 km route, combining iconic roads with supported check-points.

Catering & aid stations

Village and checkpoint support with water, food stations, and meal pick-up available at designated locations.

Pacers

Pacers allowed exclusively at official checkpoints. 10 confidential checkpoints on the 650 km route; penalties (+5 min per recall, 1 h for following pacers) enforced. Maintain minimum average pace: 16 km/h (650 km) or 13 km/h (330 km) including pauses.

FAQ

What is the minimum age to enter?

You must be 18 years old in the year of the event (born before 2008).

Are support vehicles allowed?

No. Assistance is only permitted at official checkpoints. Vehicles following the course are prohibited.

What happens if I don’t meet the pace barrier?

You may be asked to finish under escort or face time penalties; minimum average pace must be maintained including pauses.
