A scenic cross-border half marathon taking runners from Northern Ireland into the Republic of Ireland along the newly completed Greenway between Newry and Carlingford, offering breathtaking views and a 90% traffic-free path along Carlingford Lough.
Catering & aid stations
Limited refreshments available at the finish in Carlingford Marina; participants are advised to bring their own hydration and nutrition along the route. Bag drop in Newry with transport to finish; buses provided for parking options.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be available for the Half Marathon aligned with Startwelle groupings published on the event’s Renntag schedule; Pacers wear identifiable flags for each target time window to help runners maintain goal pace along the 90% traffic-free Greenway and coastal sections.

FAQ
Is a 10K available this year?
No 10K option this year due to closure of part of the Greenway for a narrow water bridge installation.
Do I need to choose a parking option?
Yes — choose when registering so we know how many buses are required: Carlingford (bus to start) or Newry (bus back after race).
What should I expect at the finish?
Bag drop in Newry with transport to finish; buses run from Carlingford to Newry 12–2 PM following the race. Limited refreshments at the finish in Carlingford Marina.
