About

Bridget's Run is an annual community celebration of love for those we have lost in pregnancy or infancy. FAQ

    Can I participate from anywhere?

Yes! Bridget’s Run has taken place in Ireland, Florida, Calgary, hospitals, and many other places. You can go it on your own or gather friends, family, co-workers, or your community to set up a virtual run or walk. Choose your course and start time. Check “I am a virtual participant” during registration to receive additional support.

What route changes were made for 2026?

The Bridget's Run route has been modified slightly this year to accommodate construction while maintaining a true 5K walk/run. For anyone who has participated in the past, note the route has been extended slightly past the South Shore turnaround point. Volunteers will keep participants on the correct path.

How can I register or sign up to volunteer?

Registration and sign-up details are available on the event page or by contacting the Run Coordinator at info@bridgetsrun.ca.

What should I know about parking and permits?

A digital waterfront permit or hangtag pass is required to park for free at specific waterfront areas and must be active before arrival. Applications via HotSpot app or website take 3–5 business days. Free parking is also available in the South lot at Barrie By the Bay (80 Bradford St). Non-permit parking costs $10/hour with a $50 daily maximum.
