About
High Alpine running in the beautiful West Kootenay region & town of Rossland, British Columbia. Known for its rugged terrain, epic mountain views, and festive atmosphere, it is considered one of BC's most challenging and popular trail races.
Catering & aid stations
Multiple aid stations offering water, electrolyte drinks, and solid food on course. Notably, Red Mountain Resort’s Sourdough restaurant and The Josie Hotel’s Velvet Restaurant, lounge and patio provide full menu service. Stop at aid stations or venues to eat during the race.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be present on the 50K and 25K to help runners achieve target times aligned with start waves. Refer to the event schedule for wave-specific pacing goals. Pacers are volunteers and pace identification is indicated by flags at checkpoints; they assist with navigation but do not guarantee split times.
