About

The Broome International Airport Marathon is set in the picturesque landscape of Cable Beach, where runners can enjoy a scenic route during Australia's perfect 'Dry Season' conditions. The event is supported by the WA Government through Tourism WA and Royalties for Regions.

Catering & aid stations

Drink stations will be located every 5 km and will be down on the hard packed sand at: the Gantheaume Point Turn, Cable Beach Start/Finish. Cups of water, electrolyte drink and bottles of water will be available at all aid stations. There will be bins located at all drink stations. Competitors must place used cups in the bins provided - no littering.

Pacers

Pacer runners will be present to help participants achieve their target times. The pacing groups will start with the marathon event at 06:00 am. Participants are encouraged to follow their designated pacers for better race management and support.
