About
Budureasa Mountain Running is a mountain running competition organized by ACS Bihorul Oradea in partnership with Budureasa City Hall and the Local Council, featuring children’s, 8 km eco cross-country with +300 m elevation, and a 16 km cross-country with +800 m elevation on forest roads and trails.
Catering & aid stations
Revitalization points on course for 16 km (water, isotonic drinks, soft drinks, fruit); 1 revitalization point for 8 km; water and basic refreshment stations available.
Pacers
Pacemakers are announced on the event day (Renntag) with target times per start wave; Pacers display Pacer flag and are listed in race information materials.

Who can participate in the ECO Cross 8 km and Cross 16 km?
Participants who turn 14 in 2026 and are fit for endurance runs; competitors under 18 need written parental consent and a copy of IDs.
What is the registration deadline?
Online registration closes on 03 May 2026; on-site registrations depend on available chip numbers.
Are there awards and prizes?
Yes, cash prizes for top 5 overall in both ECO Cross and Cross Country; trophies for top 3 in category; a 500 RON bonus for the first athlete to break the 16 km course record.
