The Canaan Valley Trail Run returns for its 5th year, hosted at Canaan Valley State Park Resort with lodging options nearby in Tucker County, WV. Choose between a 5.9-mile or 11.8-mile loop on the Promised Land Trail with scenic mountain vistas.

Pacers
Pacemaker/pace groups are posted for the Half Marathon and 10K events on the race-day Renntag schedule; look for Pacer flag colors at each start wave. Exact target times per wave are provided during registration and in pre-race emails.

What is the maximum number of participants?
Limited to 200 participants.
Is packet pickup available before race day?
Yes — Packet pickup is available Friday 6/20 6–8 pm at McClumsy (284 East Avenue, Thomas, WV).
Are there aid stations on course?
Yes. Water stops are located at 1.8, 3.5, 6.3, and 7.5 miles; bathrooms available at all stops except 1.8 and 7.5 miles, which are near the hotel.
What lodging options are available?
Canaan Valley Resort and nearby lodgings in Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley; all within a 10-minute drive of the race site.
