A fun, fast 5k held the Sunday after Thanksgiving to raise scholarship support for community members in need. The race features a mascot (a turkey) who starts a bit ahead and mid-pack, with awards for beating the bird and perks like a post-race dessert from a local baker.
Pacers
Waves: Half Marathon Walkers at 5:30am; Half Marathon Runners at 6:30am; All 10k Runners at 7:00am. On-course water at ~2mi, 4.5mi, 6mi, 8mi, 10mi and 12mi for half marathon; 3.2mi and 5mi for 10k. Gatorade available at mid-10k and mid-half. No dogs, strollers, earbuds or headphones (open-ear headphones allowed); arrive 10–15 min early and follow pace-group/finish-area signage.
