About

An uphill trail race through scenic southern Utah featuring nearly 7,500 feet of climb on a 100% dirt loop of the "C=" trail.

Pacers

Pacers will be available for selected start waves as posted in the "Renntag für Laufende" schedule. Look for pacer flags at the start wave and during the race. Pacers are there to help you maintain even effort and stay on schedule.

Where can I pick up my packet and where is the start/finish?

Packet pickup and the start/finish area are at the trailhead of the C trail. Exact location details are shared with registered participants and posted on race day.

What are the aid stations on course?

Aid stations will offer soda, electrolytes, water, chips, pickles, candy, fruit, and either grilled cheese or quesadillas. Specific station locations are shared during the race briefing.

Are trekking poles recommended?

Yes — runners are advised to use trekking poles for the significant uphill sections.

What is the elevation profile?

Starting at ~6,000 ft, the course climbs approximately 7,500 ft total on a 100 % dirt/trail loop of the "C=" trail, with a high point near 8,200 ft.

Is there parking at the start?

Parking is available at the C trailhead. Carpooling is encouraged given limited space.

What should I wear?

Trail shoes, layered clothing for morning chill, sun protection, and a hat are recommended. Gaiters may be helpful for dusty sections.

Do I need to bring my own nutrition?

Aid stations will provide nutrition; however, many runners choose to carry additional snacks for personal preference.
