About
A mountain ultra race circling the Matterhorn/Cervino, offering trails from 15 km to 70 km with significant altitude gain. The event combines trail running and vertical racing above 1900 m on the Italian side of the massif.
Catering & aid stations
On-course aid stations provide food and drink. Each runner must carry at least 1 liter of water as part of semi-self-sufficiency. Specific meal and beer vouchers are provided with the race bib.
Pacers
The CMUR is a mountain ultra run in teams of two (pairs) and semi-self-sufficiency. Pacers must be registered as a team and meet the same requirements as other participants. Pace groups follow staggered start waves as detailed in the Regolamento for each distance; pacers are expected to run together, supporting their teammate, observing mandatory aid station checks, and carrying required gear. All decisions on pacing, drops, and support are at the organizing committee’s discretion for safety.

How do you register for races?
Registration takes place exclusively online via the wedosport platform. Check the registration section of each race’s regulations for exact times. Note: CMUR 70k requires individual registration for each team member via wedosport.
Is it possible to shower after the race?
Yes, showers are available at the school gym about 100m from the finish line.
Where can I sleep before the race starts?
You can sleep in the school gym. Send a request by mail to info@cervinosportevents.it.
Is it possible to transfer my registration to another person?
No. Bib numbers are nominal and cannot be transferred. You may waive registration for a refund within the official deadline.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available on both sides of the road just after the last tunnel before Cervinia village.
Are there facilities for overnight stays?
Yes, affiliated facilities are available in the area; see the relevant page for listings.
Where can I find photos of the event?
After the event, photos can be purchased via a link published on the site.
