About

Challenge Vieux Boucau is a triathlon event on the Landes coast offering Olympic, Middle, and Sprint distances plus a Kids Duathlon. Set between ocean, lake, and forest, it features a rolling start, aid stations, and a festive atmosphere. Organized by Challenge Family.

Catering & aid stations

8 aid stations on the 21.1Km running course (located at km 2 and 4, and every ~2.5Km thereafter), plus stations on bike and swim segments providing drinks and solid food options.

Pacers

Pacers will be present on the bike and run segments with pacer boards/waist pins matching start waves shown in the timetable. Refer to the "Temps / Horaire" page for wave-specific pacer times; all participants must respect their allocated wave and the pacers' guidance.

What are the age categories and prize awards?

Middle Distance trophies are awarded per age category (18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70+) for men and women; only specified relay teams receive trophies.

Can I register as a team and get discounts?

Yes — teams of 10 or more athletes receive special discounts. Contact challenge.vieux.boucau@gmail.com for details.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Cancellations are possible with deductions: €25 Middle Distance, €15 Olympic Distance, €10 Sprint Distance if canceled by the specified deadline; no refunds after the set cutoff.
