A scenic, historic marathon and half marathon on the Chickamauga Battlefield near Chattanooga, offering a rolling course, ample aid stations, and a family-friendly atmosphere with cannon starts and veteran honors.
Multiple aid stations (~every 2 miles) along the marathon/half marathon course offering water, Powerade, fruit, and basic first aid; 5K has one aid station with water. Post-race food tent with hot meals, vegan options, and complimentary non-alcoholic beer for finishers.
Free pace teams from the Chattanooga Track Club with volunteer pacers covering target finish times (e.g., 3:15, 3:20, 3:25, 3:35, 3:45, 4:00–6:00 h for marathon; 1:35, 1:50 for half marathon). Pacers carry colored flags for their estimated finish time; inclusion in entry fee noted.

Yes. Awards are given for Overall Male/Female and Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), Senior Grandmasters (60+), with top 3 in each 5-year age bracket receiving awards and first-timers receiving a framed finisher certificate.
6.5 hours for both the half and full marathon. The 5K and Junior Marathon have their own time allowances per course rules.
