Climb 89 is a hill repeat event that allows participants to 'Everest' on foot. Performing enough repeats of a single climb to gain at least 29,032 ft of elevation, with 5 other 'mountain' options available. The course is 0.35 mile with 292 ft of elevation gain per lap.
Water, electrolytes, and various snacks will be provided at the start/finish area throughout the event. Additional food will be available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at times listed in the Schedule of Events.
There are no official pacers for this event, but the course is open to the public, so others may join you. They may not carry anything for you or provide any physical assistance to you or other participants. We do ask that they do not utilize the aid station however. While crewing is allowed, please minimize the number of people to avoid congestion in the start/finish area.
