A joyful family fun run where participants wear white t-shirts and run through colourful paint stations, getting covered shoulder to knee in bright powdered paint while supporting Suffolk Mind.

Catering & aid stations

Light refreshments available to purchase from a food truck. Water refill station at finish; no water stations on course.

FAQ

What does it cost?

Adults: £8 for 1.5km / £10 for 3km. Children: £4 for 1.5km / £6 for 3km. Family ticket: £18 for 1.5km / £24 for 3km.

What exactly is a Colour Rush?

You start in a white t-shirt and finish covered in rainbow colours by running through multiple coloured paint stations manned by volunteers, who dust powder between the shoulders and knees.

What time should I arrive?

Registration is 9:00–9:30am. 3k runners should be signed in and warmed up by 10:15am; races depart in colour groups from 10:30am. 1.5k trail departs after the 3k waves.

Is the route accessible?

The route is mainly on mown grass but may be muddy or slippery. It is not pushchair or wheelchair accessible; event is for walkers/runners only.

Can I bring guests or my dog?

Yes to guests—remind them powder may spread. No dogs except assistance, PAT and authorised security dogs.

Will powder stain my clothes or phone?

Powder can stain clothing; wash soon for best results. Cover cameras/phones with cling film or a zip bag to avoid damage.
