A runDisney event weekend at Walt Disney World Resort featuring Disney Princess-themed 5K, 10K, and half marathon races with character experiences, take place February 25–March 1, 2027.

Pacers

Pace cyclists will be on course indicating when participants are behind pace by waving a red flag at each mile marker according to the official pace time. Participants must maintain a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile for all race distances; a training pace of 15 minutes per mile is recommended. If you reach a mile marker with a red flag, you are behind the required pace and can be picked up at any time and transported to the course pickup tent.

FAQ

What are the age requirements for each race?

5K: must be 5 years or older on race day; 10K: must be 10 years or older; Half Marathon and Disney Princess Challenge: must be 14 years or older; Yoga: must be 10 years or older. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a registered guest age 14 or older.

Is proof of time required for the half marathon?

Proof of time is required only if you plan to run the half marathon in 2:30 (2 hours 30 minutes) or less. Otherwise, proof of time is not required. Acceptable proof must be from an official USATF-certified 10K, 10-mile, half marathon, or marathon race with results dated between January 1, 2024 and October 1, 2026.

What is the minimum pace required on course?

All participants must maintain a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile for all race distances. A training pace of 15 minutes per mile is recommended. Pace cyclists will wave a red flag at mile markers to indicate participants behind pace; you may be picked up and transported to the course pickup tent.

Can costumes be worn during the event?

Costumes are allowed but must be family-friendly, not obstructive, and cannot contain weapons or sharp items. Participants 14 and older may not wear costume masks; younger participants may wear masks with visible eyes. Costumes that drag on the ground or conceal items are prohibited.

What baggage or pickup options are available at the expo?

gEAR Bag Check is available for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K at the Expo with a clear plastic bag issued at Bib Pick-Up. Valuable items should not be checked. Expo hours vary by day: Thu Feb 25 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, Fri Feb 26 12:00 PM–7:00 PM, Sat Feb 27 11:00 AM–3:00 PM.
