About
An annual sponsored hike in aid of Barretstown following the Dublin Mountains Way, with 24km and 42km options that start in Sean Walsh Park, Tallaght and finish at Three Rock or Bradys Pub in Shankill. The event includes bus transfers from finish points back to the start.

Water, portaloos, hot meal at Three Rock for 42km; water, portaloos at 24km finish. Checkpoint facilities listed in the Event Guide.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be provided on race day with target start times published per Startwave: 42km wave 1 08:00; 24km wave 1 07:15. Pacers will lead their wave at the published target pace and will carry pacer flags; follow pacer guidance for safe and consistent pacing.

What distances are available?
24km (Sean Walsh Park → Three Rock) and 42km (Sean Walsh Park → Shankill via Three Rock).
Is there public transport to the start?
Yes; buses 27, 49, 56a, 65, 76a, 76, 77a serve Tallaght; check timetables as not all arrive in time for the 42k start.
What should I bring?
Good fitness, suitable footwear, waterproof layers, food and water for the distance, and a hi-visibility vest (provided).
Are there cut-off times?
Checkpoints have cut-off times; 12:30 at Three Rock (24km) and 14:5km marker times, with final checkpoints at 3:30 (Three Rock) and 7:30 (Shankill) respectively.
