EcoTrail Funchal – Madeira is a trail running race in natural and urban environment on the island of Madeira, part of the international Ecotrail series promoting sport, nature and sustainability.
When and where does the event take place?
The event takes place on 17 October 2026 in Madeira, with starts across the city and finish at Avenida Arriaga / Largo da Restauração in Funchal.
What distances are available?
60 km, 45 km, 30 km, 15 km, and Kids Race (800 m and 1600 m categories).
What is included in the entry fee?
Entry includes bib/chip timing, accident insurance, food and drink aid stations, first aid support, finisher medal or kit (for those who finish), and digital participation certificate (if requested). Transport to the starts can be arranged on request.
Is there an age limit or special rules for Kids Race?
Kids Race has age categories (Infantis under 13, Iniciados under 15). Participants need parental declaration / authorization. The race takes place entirely in Parque de Santa Catarina.
