A daylong running adventure in Door County, Wisconsin — runners can run as a solo or as part of a 2–5 person team, covering 50 miles of paved course with aid at nine rest stations.

Catering & aid stations

Nine rest stations provide water, Gatorade, Clif Bars, fruit, and bagels; Exchange #5 offers a Half Way Buffet with hot chicken noodle soup, breads, peanut butter, jelly, salty snacks, cookies, and candy.

Pacers

Solo runners start at 6:30 am and must finish by 6:30 pm (12-hour time limit). Relay teams are assigned to four start waves (7:30 am, 8:20 am, 9:10 am, 10:00 am) ordered slowest to fastest. All participants must complete the 50 miles; exchange points are staffed and provide food, drink, and gear check.

FAQ

How many runners can I have on my team?

Maximum of five runners on a team.

Can we have a sixth runner on our team?

No; maximum five runners per team.

Can we have a sixth person in the vehicle as the driver?

Yes — bring a busload of friends. Only up to five individuals may participate/be counted on the team.

How many legs must each participant run?

As few or as many as you want; the team must run the entire 50 miles.

What if one of our runners breaks down?

Another team member must continue from where that runner stopped; the team must still complete all 50 miles.

Can we start earlier than our assigned time?

No start time changes allowed. Start times are assigned to stagger the field.

Until when can we make roster changes?

Teams may change roster, transfer, or update online through Sunday, October 19 at midnight; last-minute changes allowed Friday or Saturday at event with notice.

What is the course surface and are roads closed?

The entire course is paved asphalt; roads are NOT closed to motor vehicles — be alert to traffic.

Where can I pick up my packet?

Packet pickup Friday 2–7 pm at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay (107 N. First Avenue) or Saturday 6–10 am at Shoreline Restaurant in Gills Rock.

What is the refund/deferral policy?

No refunds and no deferrals for any reason; no exceptions.

What food and drink are available on course?

Water, Gatorade, Clif Bars, oranges, bananas, apples, bagels, chocolate chip cookies, M&M’s, Jolly Ranchers, Clif Shots. Exchange #5 offers hot chicken noodle soup, PB&J sandwiches, and additional snacks.

Is free beer, wine, and pizza available at the finish?

Yes — an all-you-can-eat post-race party with pizza, breadsticks, beer, wine, soda, and water is provided for participants at the finish.
