Filsum Löppt is a local running event held as part of the SV Blau-Weiß Filsum sports days, always on the last Friday in June, featuring races for children and adults with various distances and awards.

Catering & aid stations

For runners: beverage stations along the route. Additional drinks, pretzels, pommes, and soft drinks available at the finish area from local clubs. Coffee and cake buffet provided free for all runners and spectators.

Pacers

Pacemakers are announced on the race day schedule (Renntag) and indicated with Pacer flag markers at the respective start waves in the 5,2 km Lauf, 5,2 km Walking, and 10,3 km Lauf.

Who can participate in the 400 m Kinnerloop?

Children up to the 2019 school year are eligible; no registration fee is required.

Are there age groups for the 2 km Schülerlauf?

Yes, awards are given for U8, U10, U12, and U14; a participation certificate is provided for all child participants.

What is the course like for the main runs (5,2 km and 10,3 km)?

Both races run a 5 km loop on sealed secondary roads and paths around Filsum; the 10,3 km event completes the loop twice.

Is there on-course catering?

Yes, there are beverage stations along the route and additional drinks and snacks at the finish area; a free coffee and cake buffet is available for all runners and spectators.

How are prizes awarded?

Podium prizes (medals, cups) are awarded at the event; overall winners receive a Wanderpokal for the 'Flinkste Loper uit Jümme' if they reside in the Samtgemeinde Jümme.
