About

A multi-distance running festival on Flinders Island featuring a glow run, marathon, 25k trail run/walk, and a recovery run, with timed events, finisher medals, and local business support.

Catering & aid stations

Food and drinks available for purchase at the Flinders Island Golf Club on Friday and Saturday. On-course aid stations provide additional sustenance during races.

Pacers

Pacemaker/Pacer events are scheduled: participants are grouped by target finish times per Startwelle on Saturday. Pacers will lead their waves, display pacer flags, and provide steady-pace guidance to help runners achieve target splits.

FAQ

What time do events start?

Friday 4th September. Guess Your Time Glow Run starts at 6:00pm. Flinders Island Golf Club.Saturday 5th September. 42k starts at 7:30am, Flinders Island Golf Club. 25k starts at 9:00am, corner Thule/Manns Rd (7:30am for walkers). 11k starts at 10:30am, Memana Rd.Sunday 6th September. Recovery Run starts at 10:00am, Trousers Point Carpark.

Are there transfers from the finish?

Yes there are! Bus will leave the Flinders Island Golf Club at 6:45am for 25k walkers, 8:15am for 25k runners, 10:00am for 11k runners.

Where do I register and pick up my race number?

We will have a table stationed at the Golf Club on Friday (4:30pm to 7:30pm) and Saturday (6:30am-10:30am) to pick up race bibs, vouchers and for general registration enquiries. Marathon runners will also need to complete their mandatory gear check in on Friday night and attend the mandatory briefing at around 6:30pm.

Is ParkRun still going ahead?

Do I need a Parks Pass for the Trouser’s Point Run on Sunday?

Yes, you will definitely need a National Parks Pass for the run as it goes through Strzelecki National Park

What can you tell us about the Toddler Trot?

Toddler Trot will be held at around 1:00pm, all littluns are welcome (age 4 and under). The course will start and finish at the Flinders Island Golf Club, and won't be too long! No registration needed.

Will there be food available after the runs?

Yes! There will be food and drinks available to purchase at the Golf Club on both Friday and Saturday. This is also a great opportunity to use your $10 Island Voucher!

Will the event be timed?

Yes, thanks to Turbo Chook Tech we will be recording finish times for the Friday and Saturday runs. Please ensure your bib is visible at the finish line for the camera that will be set up.

What are the prizes?

All runners and walkers will receive a medal upon completion of the Saturday races. These will be presented at the Golf Club at around 1:00pm.

Where can I use the $10 Island Voucher?

We are very supportive of local business, so everyone who registers will receive a $10 Island Voucher to use at a variety of local shops. The paper voucher itself you receive at registration will have a list of businesses that will accept it.

Where can I get my hoodie?

If you ordered by the 16th May, hoodies will be available to be picked up at the Golf Club. If you ordered a hoodie after the 16th May, it will be posted out to you after the event.

Where can I park my car?

There's plenty of parking at the Flinders Island Golf Club.

Are there toilets?

Yes there are! There are toilets at the Golf Club. There will also be portaloos stationed at Thule Rd, Memana Rd and the Showgrounds.

What are the course cut-off times?

Cut off is 1pm but people can continue on course at their own discretion.

Can I run with a dog?

Yes, pooches are more than welcome at the events. But please use common sense and try to avoid being in a group that might cause an accident. The Trousers Point 4.4 goes through a National Park so unfortunately pooches are not allowed at this run.
