The Forchheimer Silvesterlauf is the sportive year-end highlight of the Sportfreunde Forchheim, organized by the athletics department. It is a community-oriented road race held through the Rheinauenwald, offering a 10 km competition and a 5 km Jedermannslauf for runners and Nordic walkers since 1995.

Pacers
The Rheinstetten Triathlon paced sessions occur on the competition day with target times posted per start wave on the event site; pacers display flags to help participants find their desired pace group during the run.
