About
Tucked away in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., the Frederick Running Festival is one of the hidden gems of the running community. The festival features four races, which all finish at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Runners can experience a big time race with small town charm with the added value of off-site packet pick-up in the suburbs of Maryland.
Catering & aid stations
We will have 7 aid stations on the course, each stocked with water and Gatorade. Select locations will also offer fruit and salty snacks. Each aid station will have at least one port-a-pot and a SELF HELP Kit with basic runner amenities.
Pacers
Pacers will be present to help runners maintain target times during the half-marathon. Pacing flags will be displayed for easy identification, ensuring that all participants have support to reach their goals.
