FAQ

Are pre-requisites required to enter?

No. There are no prerequisites; the event is open to all experienced ultra-runners. First-time 100-mile participants are welcome at the organizer’s discretion.

What is the vehicle/shuttle policy?

A car shuttle is required at the Pineview Dam crossing (Mile 48.8). Vehicles must use the shuttle for runner safety; a short drive transports runners across the dam to WindSurfer Beach. Failure to use the shuttle may result in DQ.

What gear is recommended?

Bring ample water, nutrition, and traction devices for ~22,500ft of climbing. 96% singletrack means rocks, roots, and mud—pack accordingly and prepare for remote conditions.

How is aid station support arranged?

Aid stations are spaced at regular intervals along the route, providing food, drink, and basic medical support. Pacers and crew must adhere to parking and holding area rules at stations to minimize congestion.
