About

A multi-distance event in Kalgoorlie comprising a 50k ultra, a marathon, a half marathon and a 10k fun run, all finishing at the Ray Finlayson Sporting Complex.

Catering & aid stations

Aid stations: 6 stations (first two for marathon only, then every 5 km). Water at all stations; selected stations offer electrolyte drinks and limited gels. On-course options are for consumption only — runners may not leave personal drinks at stations.

Pacers

Pacers set target times per start wave shown on race-day schedule (start lists and Pacerflaggen). Follow pacers only where permitted; they are on course to support runners and will carry identifiers.

FAQ

Are there aid stations on course?

Yes, there are 6 aid stations. The first two are for marathon only and are 7 km apart; thereafter stations are every 5 km (Aid 1 at 7 km, Aid 2 at 14 km, Aid 3 at 21 km (half start), Aid 4 at 26.5 km, Aid 5 at 32 km (10k start), Aid 6 at 37 km). Water is available at all stations; selected stations offer electrolyte drinks and limited gels.

Can I leave special drinks or a drop bag at aid stations or the start?

Special drinks can be left at bib pick-up prior to 14:00 on Saturday. You may leave a drop bag at the start; clothes will be transported to the finish. The organizers accept no responsibility for valuables left in drop bags or at aid stations.

Are bikes allowed on course?

No bikes are permitted on course. Spectators are welcome at aid stations or are encouraged to volunteer.

What are the cut-off times?

Cut-off times for all events are 13:00. Marathon runners must be through the halfway point by 09:45. 50 km runners must reach the 33.7 km point within 3 hours 45 minutes.

What are the start times for each distance?

50k and Marathon start at 07:00; Half Marathon at 08:45; 10k Fun Run at 09:30. Transport departs Ray Finlayson Sporting Complex at 06:00 for 50k and marathon, and 08:00 for half marathon.
