Gothenburg Triathlon is a community-organized triathlon held at Rådasjön in Mölndal, featuring Olympic and sprint distances with swim, bike, and run segments. The event welcomes both competitive and recreational participants.

Catering & aid stations

Do I need a triathlon license to participate?

Yes, a valid Swedish Triathlon license is required for competitive categories. You can purchase one via https://mittlopp.se/anm/licens. This is not required for the Kids Race or recreational participants.

What should I bring on race day?

Bring your race number (to attach to your bike and wear during the run), a valid photo ID, a triathlon suit or comfortable clothing for all three disciplines, goggles, helmet (mandatory for cycling), and any nutrition. Transition area rules and timing chip details will be confirmed at registration.

Is there on-site registration on race day?

On-site registration is available up to one hour before the start, subject to availability. Early online registration is recommended.

What are the cut-off times or pacing expectations?

Pacing expectations and transition timing details are provided in the race briefing. Competitive participants are expected to follow designated start waves and adhere to transition area rules.
