About
The running edition of the Green Energy World Championships, held in Besançon, Franche-Comté in September 2026 on the theme of renewable energies. The event combines competition and awareness around sustainable energy, set in the scenic setting of Besançon.
Pacers
Pacemakers will be provided for main-started races (marathon and half marathon). Start corrals and target pacer times will be published on the event day schedule (Renntag) and at the start line; look for pacer flags and follow the designated pacers for your category during the race.
