FAQDO I GET A RACE NUMBER AND TIMING CHIP?
Race Numbers/Chips are given to all Elite Wave athltes at the official Elite Wave Race briefing, it is important that all timing chips are tightly secured within shoelaces and placed no higher, chips placed any higher may not register and participant will be left without a race time. HOW TO MAKE CHANGES – RACE WAVE, NAME OF TEAM, PARTICIPANT ETC?
If you want to make changes within an event (team or individually) as well as change or add team name, please email [email protected]. To transfer entry onto another participant please follow link under your confirmation bar code, system will request a new payment from participant, once this payment is done original payment source will be refunded. The Grid is an obstacle course, and a certain level of fitness is required. Our Obstacles are all certified by Health and safety staff prior to race. Many obstacles are difficult and some also contain a fear factor, however if done according to guidelines all are safe. WE ONLY ASK THAT INDIVIDUALS DO NOT TRY ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY AND REMAIN WITHIN THEIR CAPABILITIES SO AS TO NOT PUT ONESELF OR OTHERS IN DANGERWHAT RACE OPTIONS ARE THERE?
You can take on The Grid events as an Elite or Open categories, within the open categories you may take it on as an individual or with friends who would like some active fun!MAY I TRANSFER MY ENTRY ONTO ANOTHER EVENT?: Only entries that had been purchased during covid may be transferred free of charge. Entries from 2022 onward can only be moved if The Grid is advised 1 Month prior to the event and upon receipt of doctors certificate, there is a movement cost of €10.00 for all movements.
