About

Hell Hath No Hurry is a looped trail race built around community, perseverance, and a great day on the trails. Runners of all abilities are welcome — from first-time trail racers to seasoned ultrarunners looking to take on 50 miles. Choose your distance, run scenic loops through Settlers Cabin Park, and enjoy post-race celebration with friends and family.

Catering & aid stations

Main Aid Station (Start/Finish) with water, electrolyte drink, PB&J, chips, pretzels, candy, salt tabs, and other trail-friendly snacks. Halfway Aid Station with water, electrolyte drink, and food. 50-mile runners may access personal gear/nutrition at their vehicles each lap. 30K and 50K runners may set up a small personal aid area at start/finish.

Pacers

Pacers are allowed only for 50-mile runners, after completing 5 loops (approximately mid-race). Refer to Renntag für Laufende for target times per start wave and pacer-flag guidance.

Do I have to sign up in advance?

Yes. All participants must register, though race-day registration is available.

Can I change distances during the race?

No. Runners must complete the distance they registered for.

Is this race beginner-friendly?

Yes. The 10K and 30K are great trail introductions, but all distances require trail experience and preparation.

Is the course marked?

Yes, but runners are responsible for navigation.

Is the post-race cookout included?

Yes. It is open to runners, crews, friends, and family.

Is alcohol available?

Yes, beer will be available for those 21 and over.

Can my family come?

Absolutely. The start/finish area is family-friendly with a nearby playground.

What if I miss the final lap cutoff?

If you have not started your final lap by 6:00 PM, your race will end unless you can convince the Race Director otherwise.
