The world's biggest backyard ultra — a 24-hour challenge where runners tackle a 6.71k loop on the hour, every hour, at Herdsman Lake in Western Australia. It's a race against yourself, not others, with one loop becoming 100 miles (24 laps) by day's end.
Full service manned aid station at transition near start line for every lap up to 24 hours. On-course: water, electrolyte hydration, Coke, crisps, lollies, and hot soup (first night into cool morning). BYO cup or hydration vessel recommended.
Pacers set target times per Startwave on the race day schedule (e.g., 4pm start). Pacers carry pacer flags to help runners maintain target loop times; refer to the event's Renntag/Further running info for wave-specific targets.
Monthly averages based on historical data (2000–present).
