> WHO ARE THE HEREFORD COURIERS?
Hereford Couriers are a Running Club based in Hereford, the club was established in 1981 and are the original Hereford Running Club.The Couriers affiliate to England Athletics and the Herefordshire Athletics Association. EA registration number 2658098.
> HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF HEREFORD COURIERS?
Our club membership runs from April to March annually, you can become a member by visiting the Club Membership area of our website.
> HOW MUCH IS IT TO BECOME A MEMBER OF HEREFORD COURIERS?
Our annual subscription for 2024/25 is £25, this includes full club membership and England Athletics affiliation.
> WHAT DAYS DO HEREFORD COURIERS TRAIN?
As a club we have various training options, our popular clubrun sessions are on a Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm from Hereford Leisure Centre. Each of our clubrun sessions usually have 5 groups at a variety of distances and paces. We also offer a weekly speed session either on a Monday or a Wednesday evening, along with social Sunday long runs.
> DO YOU OFFER TASTER SESSIONS?
Yes, we do offer taster sessions for 1 month, check out our social media for details on how to register.
> I’M WORRIED THAT I’LL BE TO SLOW, DO YOU CATER FOR ALL ABILITIES?
Absolutely! We offer 5 different pace groups to suit all abilities. Our motto is no one gets left behind.
> I WANT TO IMPROVE MY RUNNING, CAN YOU HELP?
We’re passionate about developing our members. We have 6 EA qualified run coaches and 8 run leaders. We also host regular structured training sessions for speed and endurance.
> I LOVE RUNNING FOR THE SOCIAL AND HEALTH BENEFITS, CAN I STILL JOIN?
Yes! Hereford Couriers is much more than just a running club. We have an active social scene with parkrun tourism, weekend hiking trips, our showpiece end of year party & loads more!
> WHAT LEAGUES DO HEREFORD COURIERS COMPETE IN?
The Hereford Couriers compete in the Hereford & Borders Cross Country League that is organised by the Herefordshire Athletics Association.
