About

Run the streets of Sydney in one of Australia's favourite half marathon events, held annually since 1992. The course showcases iconic landmarks including the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Barangaroo Reserve, The Rocks and Pyrmont Peninsula.

Pacers

Pacers will be running with target times per start wave: Elite (sub 1h15m men / sub 1h25m women), Red Group (sub 1h45mins), and other open start groups with pace bands and flags for easy identification during the race.

Half Marathon starts from 6:25am; 10km starts from 9:55am on race day.

What is the entry price and what does it include?

Entry prices are listed during registration and are inclusive of processing fees and GST. The entry includes free race day public transport, a race number (personalised if ordered before 9 March 2026), timing chip, finisher medal, aid stations, on-course photography, and event merchandise where applicable.

Are wheelchairs or prams allowed on the course?

No, racing wheelchairs and prams are not permitted due to road and crowd safety. Expressions of interest are open for experienced racing wheelchair athletes.

What is the policy for pregnancy or adopting after registration?

If you become pregnant or are adopting after registering, the organiser will provide a refund of the entry fee with proof of pregnancy/birth or surrogacy adoption documentation within three months prior or two months post-event.
