About

A multi-distance trail event through historic East Anglia, offering a 50 mile ultra, 50 km ultra, and trail marathon on tarmac and off-road routes, finishing at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad.

Catering & aid stations

Checkpoints stocked with snacks (fruit, crisps, sweets) and water/electrolyte drinks; indoor checkpoints offer warm drinks/snacks. Aid stations available; no on-course meal service.

Pacemaker groups align with start waves shown on the event schedule/Renntag; Pacers display flags to help runners maintain target times—follow pacer guidance at each start wave for your chosen distance.

Are walkers allowed?

Yes, both runners and walkers are welcome. There are cut-off times at checkpoints; you must make them to continue.

Can I bring a dog?

No, except for assistance dogs.

Are there drop bags?

For longer 50-mile and 100 km races you can use a drop bag, clearly labeled with your name and race number. Transfer stations are available; otherwise, finish-bag service is provided from starts to finish.

What is included in the entry fee?

Entry includes event support, checkpoint supplies, and access to the finish area. Any items listed under 'What’s Included' on the registration page are part of your entry package.

Do I need a permit or license?

Events are licensed by the Trail Runners Association or ARC and held under UK Athletics Rules; no need to carry a separate license.
