Hume + Hovell Ultra

Trail in Australia, Tumbarumba
About
The Hume & Hovell Ultra races are conducted along sections of the Hume & Hovell Walking Track. The walking track follows as closely as possible the historic route taken by Explorers Hume & Hovell on their 1824 expedition to Port Phillip Bay. It starts at Cooma Cottage near Yass and finishes at the Hovell Tree in Albury, some 440 km in length.
Catering & aid stations
On-course aid stations provide water, electrolytes, and light refreshments (not Pacemaker drinks).
Pacers
Pacers are permitted for the 100km only with prior approval from Race Director, and only from Paddys Dam to the finish (70–100km). Pace times align with start waves shown in the schedule; look for Pacer flag markers.
