About
A challenging five mile off-road race in the North Wessex Downs, starting in Hurstbourne Tarrant and following part of the Test Way through woods and farmland. Organized entirely by volunteers, with all proceeds donated to local charities.
Catering & aid stations
Free car parking (donations appreciated), toilets, changing rooms, showers. On-course: bacon butties, homemade cakes, hot drinks. Not Pacemaker.
Pacers
Main Race starts at 11:00; assemble at 10:50. The race is untimed and not chip-timed; no designated pace lines are published. Please note headphones are not permitted under UKA rules and may lead to disqualification.

Entries close the Thursday before the race or when the 300-entry limit is reached.

Yes, if the race limit of 300 has not been reached.
What is the age limit?
Minimum age is 15 for the 5-mile race; under-15s may enter the 2K fun run.
Are refunds allowed?
No refunds, but entry can be transferred to another runner.
Is the course wheelchair or bike accessible?
No — the course is off-road, steep and uneven, and does not allow wheelchairs, bikes, pushchairs, prams, dogs, or walkers.
Are headphones allowed?
No — headphones are not permitted under UKA rules and may lead to disqualification.
